Why we exist
Florida has one of the oldest populations in the country, a large number of people living with diabetes, and a climate and lifestyle that are hard on feet. Yet most online health information is written for a national audience, and many doctor directories are thin, outdated or padded with unverified listings.
Our goal is to publish clear, evidence-based guidance with a Florida lens and to give patients a straightforward way to find a licensed Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM).
What we are, and what we aren't
- We are an independent publisher. We are not a medical practice, a hospital, or part of any podiatry group.
- We don't provide medical care or advice. Our content is educational and is no substitute for an exam by a licensed professional.
- We teach you to verify credentials. Every provider page explains how to check a license with the Florida Department of Health.
- We may earn revenue from practice listings, patient-request referrals, sponsorships or advertising. Commercial relationships never change our health content, and any paid placement will be clearly labeled.
Our standards
We don't invent reviews, ratings, testimonials or credentials. We cite reputable sources such as the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the CDC, the NIH's MedlinePlus and Medicare. Pages show when they were last updated and whether they've completed medical review.
